Why do I need to Verify my Identity?

To give you full access to your Sportsbet Account, we need to confirm you are who you say you are, by verifying your identity. This process is easy to complete online, and only needs to be done once.

How do I know if my Account is Verified?

Log into your App and navigate to the My Account section.
  • If you are required to verify your account then there will be a Verify Now link.
  • If this link is present but you cannot click through to the verification process then it is likely you have not made your first deposit.
If this is the case make your first deposit (link to article), once the deposit has been made successfully check the My Account section for the Verify Now link.
  • The link may still be present, giving you access to online verification, or it may be gone, meaning that we were able to verify you based on your profile information.
  • If the link is not present from the beginning of this process it will mean that you are already verified and do not need to take any further action

    If you have trouble getting to 100% verified after completing the form, you may need to contact us to assist you.
    If you are unsuccessful you may need to verify your ID using Certified Documents

    How do I verify my Account using Certified Documents?

    Before attempting to verify your account using the Certified Documents process please ensure that you have taken all other steps outlined in this article. If all other methods have failed you can take the following steps:
  • Download, print, and complete the Certified Documents Form.
  • Take your original ID and the copied ID documents to an authorised person capable of certifying documents.
  • The certifier will need to complete the 'Certifier Details' section of this form, and certify the copies of your documents
  • Send your completed form and Certified Copies of your Identification Documents to us

It will take us approximately 48-72 hours to process your documents.
